Exhibition 26th May - 6th July 2025
May you enjoy my paintings and blog!! Being substantial in age, (my hair is a silvery fair colour) I hope to entertain you a little at times and share some needed social innovations with you! It would be a joy to hear of yours also!
As a creative life is an infinite inspiration, just as “knowledge is everywhere”
The practicalities of a small exhibition, to be held at Hastings Library, Hastings Vic, are my focus this week! The exhibition will take place 26th May - the 6th July 2025 The 26th May is Australia’s “Sorry day” I am grateful to Rebecca of The Mornington Shire Arts and culture for making the exhibition possible for you to view.
The exhibition is composed of medium and small sized paintings.
The exhibition will be on the outside front wall of the Hastings library in new display frames recently installed by Mornington Shire Council.
As my exhibition commences on “Sorry day” A great gift to the Boonwurrung and every person in Australia would be to ensure the people and our elected politicians learn from their mistakes and atrocities. It would be appropriate to start a campaign “Zero tolerance to intentional and unintentional trauma”.
To have any honour battles must be fought on battlefields away from women and children. Hand to hand combat should be the order of the day!
With space research it would also be appropriate for the world’s people to be given sanctuary until war is fought on Mars. A planet already raised to the ground. Planet earth needs a place to live!! War is unsustainable to humane well being and life on this planet. This is open for discussion and fruition
I believe we would all welcome the sound and joy of childrens kind laughter
The name “The laughing waters” was chosen in the hope everyone be allowed and enabled to be born in happy gentle loving wise honourable circumstances and live a life full of joy and kind laughter
